The application of voltage reduction in medium and low grids to reduce peak power demand or energy consumption has been implemented since the 1980s using several approaches. Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR), as one such approach, uses a control device increase setpoint on busbar, thereby reducing increasing amount active reactive supply network. regulation for CVR is always according established network planning standards each country. Research this field proven that factor (CVRf) 0.7–1.5 can be achieved. This an evaluation metric CVR. aim research determine validate CVRf by comparing actual results obtained during regular tap changes with other randomly distributed periods outside change operations, set measurement data. It important understand deployment capability evaluating potentials from historical random operations before robust network-wide introduced. provides guidance. also novel approach determining measurements time-based algorithm.
